Your First Campaign: A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Started with Growth FYT

So you're ready to automate your prospecting and outreach with Growth FYT? Excellent! This guide will walk you through the fundamental steps to get your first campaign up and running.

Step 1: Connect Your Email Account

• Why: Growth FYT sends emails directly from your actual email address (e.g., Gmail/Google Workspace) to maximize deliverability and ensure replies land in your inbox.
• How: Navigate to Settings > Integrations (or similar). Select Gmail/Google Workspace and follow the secure OAuth prompts. You will grant Growth FYT permission to send emails on your behalf – we never store your password.

Step 2: Define Your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

• Why: This tells Growth FYT who to look for during automated prospect discovery.
• How: Go to the Prospecting or Targeting section. Input criteria defining your ideal customer: industry, company size, job titles/roles, location, keywords, etc. Be as specific as possible for better results.

Step 3: Discover Prospects

• Why: Let Growth FYT's AI find potential leads based on your ICP.
• How: Initiate a prospect discovery search using your saved ICP criteria. Growth FYT will scan its data sources and present a list of matching prospects with available (and often verified) contact information.
• (Alternative): You can also upload your own existing list of prospects if you have one.

Step 4: Create an Email Sequence

• Why: This is the series of automated emails (initial + follow-ups) that will be sent to your prospects.
• How: Go to the Sequences or Campaigns section. Create a new sequence. Add steps (emails) to the sequence. For each step:
  • Define the delay before it sends (e.g., send Email 2 three days after Email 1).
  • Write the email copy. Use merge tags ({{FirstName}}, {{CompanyName}}) for basic personalization.
  • Leverage Growth FYT's AI assistance to help craft subject lines and personalized body content based on prospect data.
  • Save your sequence template.

Step 5: Launch Your Campaign

• Why: Start sending your sequence to your chosen prospects.
• How: Select the list of discovered (or uploaded) prospects you want to target. Choose the email sequence you just created. Review settings (like sending schedule/limits, sender). Launch the campaign!

Step 6: Monitor Performance & Manage Replies

• Why: Track results and engage with interested prospects.
• How:
  • Visit the Analytics or Dashboard section to monitor open rates, click rates, and reply rates for your campaign.
  • Check the integrated Inbox or Replies section. Growth FYT will automatically pause sequences for prospects who reply. Respond personally and promptly to these engaged leads directly within the tool or your own inbox.
